What Should I Wear?

There is no formal dress code here.

You'll see people dressed in everything from jeans and casual shirts to dresses, slacks, and suits. We simply ask that clothing be modest and respectful as we gather together to worship God.

More important than what you wear is that you come ready to seek God, study His Word, and worship alongside fellow believers.

What Happens When I Arrive?

When you arrive, you'll be greeted by friendly members who would be happy to answer questions and help you find a Bible class or worship service.

Feel free to sit anywhere you'd like—there are no reserved seats.

If you'd rather slip in quietly and observe, that's perfectly fine too.

What Is Worship Like?

holy-bible-p.png

Our worship is centered on honoring God and encouraging one another through His Word.

A typical worship service lasts about one hour and includes:

  • Congregational singing

  • Prayer

  • The Lord's Supper

  • Giving (we only ask our members to give)

  • A Bible-based sermon

  • An invitation to respond to God's message

We strive to keep our worship simple, reverent, and focused on Christ.

Why Do We Sing Without Instruments?

music-worship-b.png

One distinction you may notice is that our congregation sings a cappella (without instrumental accompaniment). We seek to follow the pattern of worship described in the New Testament, where Christians are instructed to sing praises to God and encourage one another through song. We believe God is glorified through the voices of His people united in worship.

Don't worry if you don't know the songs—music and lyrics are displayed on the screens, and everyone is welcome to participate.

The Lord's Supper

cross-g (1).png

Each Sunday, we share in the Lord's Supper as Jesus instructed His followers.

Following the example of the early church, we gather on the first day of every week to remember Christ's sacrifice, proclaim His death, and celebrate the hope we have through Him.

Scripture references: Luke 22:19; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

Giving

giving-g (1).png

Giving is an opportunity for Christians to support the work of God's kingdom and care for others. Following the example of the early church, members contribute financially as they have been blessed. We believe giving should be voluntary, generous, and joyful.

If you are visiting with us, please do not feel obligated to give—we are simply glad you are here.

Scripture references: 1 Corinthians 16:1–2; 2 Corinthians 9:6–7

Prayer

praying-b.png

Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with God. Throughout our worship service, we spend time speaking to God in thanksgiving, praise, confession, and petition. Scripture encourages believers to pray continually, bring their concerns before God, and pray for one another. We believe prayer is a powerful blessing and a privilege given to every follower of Christ.

We'd Love to Get to Know You

Church is more than a worship service—it's a family of believers growing together in Christ.
