Prayers
Prayer is an important part of our time together. In prayer, we approach the throne of God through the blood of Jesus. As we open our hearts to God, we seek His movement in our lives and circumstances.
We pray about things such as travel, illness, death, sadness, or unemployment. We also pray about joy, thanksgiving, adoration, and confession. In prayer, God listens to the hearts of His people and responds.
Prayer is not about formality, but it is about sincerity. The thoughts must come from a real sense of longing and need in one's heart. The goal of prayer is to communicate with the Father, not to try and use big words or vain repetitions (Matthew 6:7, 8).
