The Lord's Supper

"For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, 'This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.' In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.'" ~1 Corinthians 11:23-25

The Lord's Supper is central in every Sunday morning worship service. We come together each week (Acts 20:7) to celebrate the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and the impact that it has on our lives. The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross is a powerful expression of God's love for His people.

During this memorial, trays of unleavened bread and "fruit of the vine" are passed throughout the congregation. If you choose not to participate, do not be embarrassed; just pass the tray to the person next to you.
