what to expect

We would love for you to come worship with us.


You may be wondering what to expect as you visit with us. As you come into our building, we hope you find a very friendly group of people that truly love God. We want to make your visit as comfortable and as encouraging as possible.  On any given Sunday, you'll find people in suits, jeans, ties, khakis, skirts or dresses. Please sit anywhere you like as there are no assigned seats. Our services last roughly one hour. 


These are the things you can expect to see in our worship.

  • singing

    One of the things you may notice is we sing without instrumental music. We believe singing with our voices only follows the example that is set for us in the New Testament (Ephesians 5:18-20; Colossians 3:16). If you do not know the songs we sing, it is not a problem. The words and music will be projected on our large LED screens. Please feel free to join in and sing with us. 


    God doesn’t care if you have any singing ability - it’s the heart that matters.


  • prayer

    We believe in the importance and power of prayer (1 Timothy 2:1-8; 1 Thessalonians 5:17). There will be several prayers offered during our worship service. We want to thank God and ask Him to help our church family, community, country, and others. 


    If you have a prayer request, let us know and we will try to include it. 


  • the lord's supper

    Another important part of our worship is the Lord’s Supper, or communion. We do this every first day of the week (Acts 20:7). It is a memorial that was established by Jesus Himself to remember his death on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins

    (1 Corinthians 11:23-26). This is a focal point of our services as we worship the Lord together.


  • giving / offering

    Our members give out of the abundance of their hearts in order to support the congregation and its ministries (1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:7). 

    As a guest, you are welcome to give but not expected to make a donation.





  • preaching / sermon

    We believe the Bible is God’s inspired word given to us so that we can learn from it

    (2 Timothy 3:16-17).  Every Sunday, a Bible-based sermon will be given for the purpose of encouraging our spirits and informing our minds so we can be more like Jesus. You will notice we don’t refer to our preacher as “Father”, “Pastor”, or by any title.  He won’t be wearing any special clothes that set him apart in anyway. We believe that we are all a priesthood of believers that are equal in God’s sight (Matthew 23:8-12; Galatians 3:26-28; 1 Peter 2:5,9). 


    We also offer a Children's Bible Hour during the sermon where our younger children (ages 2-K) will learn a Bible story.

  • invitation

    At the end of every sermon, the preacher will extend an invitation. When God's word is preached it should impact our hearts. The invitation is a time to invite anyone that wants to be baptized, make a commitment, or request prayer support to do so. The preacher and one of our elders will be standing at the front of the auditorium to help with any needs. There may be several who respond or there may be none.
